I was told that ACOG internet services are available only to ACOG members. Is there any other organisation that would stand for not board certified obgyn's practicing in U.S.A. ? I am board certified in Europe, I have 8 years of postgraduate training mostly overseas, I am practicing OBGYN many years in U.S. but I am not even board eligible here. As I understand one third of practicing obgyn in US are not board certified. Is there anybody who is protecting their interests? Do we need "American Association of Non Board Certified OBGYN" ...?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
