Would be interested to hear input on the use of routine urinalysis during preganancy. Seemed pretty useful when you could simply have the nurse dipstick in the clinic. However, give that CLIA has pushed the study into the lab and hence inflated the cost, seems questionable whether to justify the test in assymptomatic population throughout pregnancy. I'd like to hear others perpective and their clinical practices. Also, Rich, our purchasing person is tracking down the supplier for the traction handle. I'll forward ASAP.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
