the use of Barton's forceps. My understanding is the most appropriate indication is transverse arrest, platypelloid pelvis, with posterior parietal asynclitism. Yes that is the indication, I use Barton's the last time in the early 70's. My chief trained with Dennen. We memorized his book. It is a classic. everyone should read it. Farceps are not evil. they have their uses and with the training we got you knew how to use each and every one. Myer
