No, such an association has not been reported (see the good review of Salvesen KA, Eik-Nes SH. Is ultrasound unsound? A review of epidemiological studies of human exposure to ultrasound. Ultrasound in Obstet Gynecol 1995; 6:293-8). Dr Sturla Eik-Nes (from Trondheim, Norway) has very much influenced the practice of obstetrical US in Sweden.
