Sorry for the "beta misnomer". I did know that the group B strep was what was being discussed, and inadvertantly referred to the beta group in general. I did not realize it was me who had written that until I checked my "sent mail" folder. Please excuse. Julie in NH

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
