While in spain, I had a 19 yo female sailor who was referred for recurrent PID, while aboard ship for a six month tour. Shoe swore celibacy (and after seeing her shipmates, i believed her :-) )

Her exam was unremarkable, and we worked her up for renal stones. Her status improved while NPO in the hospital, and the IVP was negative. (She was NPO for possible scope.) With the a negative test she was discharged, gorged herself with Pizza, and promptly was admitted through the ER, diagnosis acute cholelithiasis. Her only risk factor was OCP use. >

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
