SIDS and subsequent pregnancyFrom: Garry E. Siegel (garrys@atl.mindspring.com)Sun Oct 27 19:36:46 1996
Dear fellow list junkies: I have a 37 YO P4022 who is nine weeks pregnant with twins, Prev. C/S X 4, who lost her second child to an accident at 18 mos., and her most recent child (born 5 years ago) to SIDS. I am unaware of any specific management changes for her prenatal care related to SIDS, but wanted to make sure I didn't overlook anything. I lack the knowledge to do a medline on line (if someone can help me with ACOGnet or the ACOG web site, or other services), and I bet one of you has experience or a reference. If so, please post to the list or private email. Thanks

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
