ObGyn Yellow PagesFrom: Roberta Speyer (roberta.speyer@elecomm.com)Fri Oct 25 00:00:17 1996
Dear Janet, We currently have 146 physicians registered in the OBGYN.net Free Physician's Web Pages (including email addresses) that live in North America. You will need to search under United States, Mexico and Canada. Some also have links to their personal or favorite URL's. You can also search by a more specific geographical location, name, spaciality, or the languages spoken. You can combine and search, for example, for an Ob/gyn practitioner that speaks Spanish in the United States (that request currently brings up 7. This directory, as it grows, will assist a physician in making a referral for a traveling or moving patient. It allows you to contact a physician by email (quickly through an email gateway) and perhaps forward patient information or to correspond and consult with. You can easily build a page for yourself online by just filling out the questions and clicking on some design and color choices. It is designed for the purpose of acting as a global Ob/Gyn Internet Directory (Yellow Pages) for referral and contact information. The information WILL NOT be sold for commercial mailing lists. In fact it will soon be password protected so that it will only be available to other practitioners and physicians. There are currently 229 entries internationally. All Ob/Gyn physicians and health care providers are welcome to add their own page at: http://www.obgyn.net/scripts/dbml.exe?Template=docadd The more entries there are, the more useful this tool becomes. We have a way to go, but the technology is built, we just need to fill it with information. Even a journey of 1,000 miles begins with the first step. :-) So, everyone's invited to build a page! I hope this helps, Roberta

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
