Depot-estradiolFrom: dahmd@gate.netThu Oct 24 20:34:15 1996
Fellow listmembers: I admit to little experience with depot-estradiol, and cannot find much in my journal stack. I'm doing a search, but in the meantime wanted to glean your personal experience. A resident recently called about a new patient of hers, who gets 20cc of this stuff every 3 weeks. The patient has been on this for many years by another doctor, and tells us that she suffers "extreme menopause" if it is not given every 3 weeks. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance (perhaps they will ask about it on the orals; it's certainly a more reasonable question than the molecular weight of oxytocin)! Ashley D. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
