I would start by attempting to empty her bowel - an enema most likely - if that did not resolve her pain (I would have sent stoll for evaluation for parasites) I would try to localize her pain - if diffuse, would get abdominal xrays (flat& upright) - actually, I'll do this prior to the enema - and refeat afterwards if the pain persists - then I'd stop to think some more.
