Sounds interesting. I'd guess an incomplete treatment of the Ascaris. Sometimes they migrate to extra-intestinal sites with initial treatment. I've never heard of them invading the urinary tract, but that would explain the read and white cells in the urine.

What were you treating with the ampicillin?
