Re: Hysteroscopy pressuresFrom: mborn (mborn@massmed.org)Tue Oct 22 07:25:47 1996
I agree should keep the pressure around 50 and use a continous flow hysteroscope, At present am using the Zimmer hysterscope pump for pressure regulation and to keep flow constant. Am awaiting one of the newer pumps that will keep track of volume in and out. I just did a case of a hystroscopic myomectomy witha 4 cm intracavitary fibroid. I used the ACMI Vapertrode electrode. It took 10 minutes with only 100cc minus. Myer Myer S. Bornstein, M.D., FACOG Chairman Department of Obs/Gyn Morton Hospital & Medical Center 88 Washington St. Taunton, MA mborn@massmed.org

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
