we do 25 mcg cytotec q 3-4 hours unless contractions <q3min. Is far more effective than PG gel although we have had problems with too frequent contractions. Rarely need pit when we use cytotec for ripening/induction. We have not seen fetal distress *yet* but I wonder how this is any different than buccal pit? (hey! does this date me??? :)

any why, pray tell, do we need submit our clinical responses to the anti-abortion folk? What business is it of theirs????

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
