Re: pelvimetry Of the X-ray typeFrom: Richard Chudacoff, MD (richardc@bcm.tmc.edu)Mon Oct 21 14:28:38 1996
>There were a large number of deliveries on that return trip through the >tunnel. IMHO, because of moving the patient about. We used to talk >about(but never did) doing a study where half the patients went through >all that but never got the pelvimetry done and the other half did. Sounds like the cork in the wine bottle theory. You never pull the cork straight up, but twist it back and forth as you pull. Get those hips moving in a failure to descend and often the fetal head finds the means to worm it's way out. Shoulder are the same. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
