We didn't want to ARM because of the risk of cord prolapse. It wasn't possible to 'push' it down further. I don't think she would have tolerated a further 10 days in hospital - in your experience do you think that the head may have engaged in this time if it hadn't up until now? Anyway, we put in a 1mg PGE2 gel and left her for 6 hours. She had some contractions, but when she was re-examined later it was now oblique breech!! At c/s we stabilised the lie to longitudinal, I opened the uterus with the membranes intact and grabbed the foot. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
