An old professor of mine had a principle he called "enough is enough". I can just see him stroking his chin (had to give up the pipe) over this case.

"Eclampsia, stabilized, delivery is indicated: no contraindication to induction. Twin gestation, vtx/vtx: no contraindication to induction. Previous section, even for failure to progress: no contraindication to induction. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, Drs. Bard and Parker are going to deliver this one!"

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
