Re: Late 2nd trimester elective terminationFrom: ATB28@aol.comSun Oct 13 21:35:53 1996
Elective terminations can be obtained in New York State through 24 weeks' gestation. We've sent couples who have been found to have fetal anomalies to Dr. Tiller in Wichita, KS (wanted pregnancies, later found to have anomalies) up to 28 weeks' gestation. Feedback from patients, uniformly, is that they are cared for well. There are also options in Europe and Israel later in pregnancy, for anomalies. Allan T. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
