I just heard an interesting tidbit about placenta

There is a company, ostensibly one of the worlds largest distributors of personal care products, sells an item called HPX hydrating gel. It contains Kukui nut oil, NaPCA, squalane, and human placental protein. It contains no petroleum based ingredients and sells wholesale for $35.

The company recently opened for business in Korea. They sold over 300,000 units of this product in the first 2 months in business. It is selling by the bucketfuls in Europe.

Just think about that the next time you throw out a placenta at 2AM.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
