Re: Medical and non-medical uses of placentaFrom: Arthurfree@aol.comSat Oct 5 18:32:56 1996
Like Mats, when I was a resident, we used to freeze and sell them for a pittance (wonder if informed consent was a little ignored here) to a company that used them for "human protein" in hair care products. The proceeds were enough to support a modest party we threw for ourselves about once a year. Arthur Freeland Warrensburg, Missouri

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
