I know that data regarding ultrasound of endometrial thickness is excellent as a screening tool for hyperplasia but am not aware of any reasonable efforts of application to tamoxifen treated patients. Recently, I have seen studies regarding endometrial biopsy as a tool to survey these patient. I would be reticent to follow these high risk patients with ultrasound alone especially given the high likelihood this woman will always have an abnormally thick endometrial stripe.
