Re: bladder exstrophy and uterine prolapseFrom: JodyBlanco@aol.comWed Jul 31 20:26:44 1996
I Have had an expereince with multiple bladder extropy patients. The older patients did not have a pubic symphisis fusion at birth. These patients seem to develop uterine and vaginal eversion as they mature. I have tried SSF, Coplosacral suspensions, anterior abdominal wall suspensions with culdplaty. All with not a great sucess but improvement. The open pelvic floor with poor anterior supports leads to long term failure. Jody Blanco

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
