Hi everyone,

A former student sent me the following problem case and would like suggestions for management. I will forward the responses to him.

I have asked him to subscribe to the list.

************************************************************ "I recently discovered by ultrasound of a 44yo primagravida, a twelve week twin

--
pregnancy with one twin being acardiac and acephalic. No thorax and only
the lower abdomen and one leg (kicking intermittently) was seen. Do you
have any suggestions to management. I have combed the literature and
know what is written. Do you have any experience with this problem.

Mahalo. norm"

Regards to all. Peter

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
