We use sterile milk to check the bladder integrity in some cases in my former years as resident in Mexico City...And is an inexpensive and usefull way to do that... We use an infusion during the BURCH colposuspension to avoid the use of cistoscopy and to check the the needdle is not inside the blader..Its not alergenic, irritative agent and inexpensive.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
