Really no need for a loading dose. >Believe me, indomethacin at this dose can constrict a ductus so I know >that uterine prostaglandins are abated. > >Ken Moise >Baylor College of Medicine > The use of the loading dose i described in my last e-mail achieves the ehhect in 120 minutes, not before, no using the loading dose achieves tocolysis in more time. Oneself must decide if uses or no the loading dose. We use it always. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Francisco L. Romero. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
