Re: How much do obstetricians think they're worth? From: David Zimmerman (fastedy@aloha.net)Thu Jul 25 05:17:43 1996
>Anyone else think this statement reveals greed and arrogance? I am not greedy. My midwives and I just want to be paid fairly for what I do. In my community, the largest insurer's eligible charge for global ob care is less than the state of California's. This really doesn't seem like fair reimbursement, especially when our practice consistently save major dollars by having a c/s rate of around 10%.
Daniel Braun says:
>I know that all Obstetricians are WORTH more than Michael Jordan. The Bravo! I wish I'd said it myself!
Anna Romig Nickels says:
>is that why some of the docs at my last hospital would sleep through the Practitioners who behave as above don't deserve even $0.02. We no longer are in the Dark Ages. Behavior as above should not be tolerated by staff or colleagues. Respectfully, Terri Rosenbaum, MD Lihue, Hawaii "A true measure of one's character is the health of one's spouse."

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
