Re: Dose of ERTFrom: David Zimmerman (fastedy@aloha.net)Thu Jul 25 05:17:35 1996
Malcolm Griffith says "most of the premature menopauses I see areiatrogenic, but can't imagine that chages much." I imagine that iatrogenic menopause is associated with much more radical hormonal changes than a spontaneous menopause. I would initiate HRT with any dose equivalent to Premarin 0.625 and if symptoms were not significantly improved by 72 hrs, I'd double to dose. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
