Re: Recurrent BVFrom: CNMPAT@aol.comSun Jul 21 08:00:42 1996
<< Greetings: We have a patient who returns for the fourth time in 6 months with discharge, clue cells, no WBC's, negative cultures. She has been treated with Flagyl, Ampicillin and Merogel. What should we be thinking about? Is there a place for treating her partner? >> Clindamycin 300mg Bid X 7 days or CleocinCream 5 Gm x 7 nights might work. I'd also treat the partner. Tendency to return, however... Pat Sonnenstuhl, CNM,ARNP,RH South Sound Women's Center: 2 CNMs and 3 OB/GYNs Olympia, WA cnmpat@aol.com HTTP://home.aol.com/CNMPAT July 20, 1996 4:01 pm

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
