Flaming hemorrhage

Today, I got a photo taken by a local opthamologist of a flame hemorrhage he found during a routine eye exam in a 38 y.o. TOTALLY normotensive (BP 90/60) patient of mine on BCP's. He advised her to check with me about the advisability of continuing her OC's in this setting. Do any of the list members feel this is an indication for stopping her pills? BTW, she is a nonsmoker with a normal lipid panel.

Will appreciate your comments.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
