Pyometra/cervical cancerFrom: Shelley Breene (ssb@usa.net)Tue Jun 25 21:20:19 1996
For my two cents worth on this..my TWO cases of pyometra last year were in postmenopausal women (on CONTINUOUS regimens of HRT) who had uterine cancer. One presented with pelvic pressure. The other had been seen by her PRIMARY CARE provider for SIX months before referral.. -- Shelley Breene MD FACOG

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
