Bicornuate uterus and IUCD birthcontrolFrom: rossmann@MEM.po.comSat Jun 15 14:35:20 1996
Is it possible to use IUD in patient with bicornuate uterus? What would be the failure rate and expulsion rate? I have delivered recently patient with bicornuate uterus by cesarean section. She is now requesting IUD for birthcontrol. Since I never before inserted IUD in bicornuate uterus, I would appreciate any advice and experience. Charles Rossmann, M.D. Obstetrics & Gynecology 2301 North Ashley Street Valdosta, Georgia, U.S.A.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
