The Preterm Delivery Prevention Program of Oakland Healthy Start is coordinating a national multidisciplinary conference in May or June of 1997. We'll be looking at epidemiology, risk factors, medical in and out patient interventions, models of prevention programs, outcomes, effects of managed care, etc. I'd be very interested in hearing from you what specific topics you would like to see covered and any ideas/suggestions you may have. Thanks. Joan Edelstein, DrPH, RN Program Coordinator of the Preterm Delivery Prevention Program and Professor of Nursing @ San Jose State University

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
