Colleagues, My name is Anna Mazaletskaya. I'm a representative of the research group of russian physicians from Yaroslavl sity hospital. I want to introduce our research and to find contacts with specialists interested in applying our method. Using rheography for evaluation of central and peripheral hemocirculation of pregnant women since 1986, we have made sure that the method meets all necessary modern demands to diagnostical tests : measurements accuracy, reliability, repeatability and reproducibility. The purpose of our research was to determine the diagnostics value of rheographic research, and to determine the informativeness of the rheographic indices, with examples of healthy pregnant women and women suffering of preeclampsia. The research covered 487 pregnant women (healthy and suffering of heavy hypertension, preeclampsia and eclampsia). All the researches and registration of all indices were made under the standard conditions, from 9 to 12 AM, a pregnant lying on her left side, after having a previous rest. The status of the central hemodynamics was established with the use of the tetrapolar breast rheography by Kubichek, the status of peripheral circulation ( right hand finger index) - with the rheographic method in tetrapolar mode. All the researches were made on the RA-5-01 reoanalyzer with the use of the original applied computer program "System Hemocirculation ". Our method gives good results in sity hospital, and our data base grows with every new examine. We have prepared a manuscript for Ob/Gyn Journal, but first we want to find common interests with colleagues abroad.

My connection to Internet is free and I can get/send mail in any format and any font. My address is in the head of the letter.

With hope on future contacts Anna L. Mazaletskaya.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
