well I believe the risk is increased with twins but I would have to look it up.

with identical twins especially with only one placenta I follow them for ttt transfusion until I know it is not there. then I rescan for growth every 4-6 <usu 6> wk US.

if one sac or thin intervening membrane <not double layered> I wonder abound identical twins.
