Having spent 5 years in the Military: Air Force Obs-Gyn, I wish to state that we gave the same care as out in the private sector. We all covered the Obsteric patients so that they would know all of us and our Gyn patients had their own Gynecologist who took care of them except in an emergency when they were off. In regards to abortions, If you where stationed abroad it depended on the Status of Forces Agreement regard to abortions. In Germany we sent our patients to London for the proceedure. They were given standby on military flights at hat time.. The Air Force did take care of their own.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
