Some of the groups involved in this study use MACS while other use FACS. Last week, we had a meeting in Paris sponsored by a concerted action on prenatal diagnosis within the EU. Mentions were made by the Spanish delegates about some work done in Spain on fetal cells in maternal blood for prenatal diagnosis. You may wish to contact Dr Carmen Ramos at the Fundacion Jimenez Diaz in Madrid (fax: 34 1 549 4764) or Prof Joaquina Gabarron from Murcia (fax 34 68 305005), or the coordinator for the EUCROMIC programme (on prenatal diagnosis) Dr Lars Vejerslev from Copenhagen, Denmark (fax 45 43 43 11 30). There is some money to cover your expenses if you wish to visit any sites within the EU belonging to this concerted action. This will end in December 1996. ***************************************************************** The-Hung Bui, M.D. =20 Associate Head Physician =20 -- Department of Clinical Genetics Karolinska Hospital S-171 76 Stockholm, Sweden

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
