Re: Use of RhogamFrom: ATB28@aol.comSat May 18 08:15:11 1996
We advocate a single dose of Rhogam after invasive prenatal diagnosis in at-risk, Rh- women. Should the procedure be an early amnio (11-13 weeks'), Microgam will suffice. However, not all centers advocate such an approach (e.g., UCSF...Bert, any comments on their line of reasoning?). Most obstetricians advocate a single dose of Rhogam at 28 weeks' in the uncomplicated Rh- pregnancy as well. Allan T. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
