Re: 2nd 3rd trimester bleedingFrom: richard kaplan (mrkaplan@nr.infi.net)Thu May 16 22:23:39 1996
With oligohydramnios and FGR I would deliver. Ordinarily 29 week neonates do pretty well in the nursery. This patient has already lost 3 preterm neonates and I can understand your hesitancy to proceed. I guess you could follow her closely with NST and/or CST but I suspect you won't get too much more time if the ultrasound is accurate. Ricky Kaplan, M.D. mrkaplan@nr.infi.net Private practice

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
