I think sequential compression >stockings should be routine for cesarean sections.

agree but never get to them..even with scheduled cases <sections>.. often think about it but not in the emergency sections.

makes a lot of sense. I use them on any case that will last more than 1/2 hour including outpatient pelviscopy.
