Re: compression stockingsFrom: mark decker (mdecker@nconnect.net)Wed May 8 23:44:12 1996
I think sequential compression >stockings should be routine for cesarean sections. >Paul > >Paul D. Burstein, MD FACOG agree but never get to them..even with scheduled cases <sections>.. often think about it but not in the emergency sections. makes a lot of sense. I use them on any case that will last more than 1/2 hour including outpatient pelviscopy. Mark -- mark decker md major surgery is done on me obgyn minor surgery I do one someone else. west bend wi I need to remember that. <perspective>.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
