Re: Multiple orgasmsFrom: J J Walker (msjjjw@gps.leeds.ac.uk)Tue Apr 30 14:09:09 1996
I would like some help. I have been referred a women who complains of multiple spontaneous orgasms that come on at any time of day or night. They are not related to stimulation or sexual thoughts. She is exhausted and her sex life is greatly reduced as a result. She has been investigated for temporal lobe lesions and nothing could be found. On examination she has an area of erythema around the clitoris. nil else. Has anyone seen this? or have any suggestions? My thoughts are either 1) local anaesthetic cream to reduce direct stimulation or 2) Carbamazipine to reduce central effects. Help please. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
