Danny:

I saw a 14 year old with vulvar condylomata in the same distribution, bilaterally, as her panty line (between thighs and labia majora). She claimed to have never had any sexual contact, had an intact hymen, and was very devastated by her warts.

Her sister, a few years older, is apparently very sexually active. The younger sister wears her older sister's swimsuits regularly. Infection by sharing clothing, or a dishonest patient? I'm not sure either, but it was a very interesting situation! Still an STD by this scenario, I suppose, but it does make me wonder about some of these infections.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
