Re: fetal macrosomia & inductionFrom: Barbara Susan Peckham (bpeckham@tcgcs.com)Thu Apr 25 21:56:51 1996
I work with two Ob/Gyns who frequently do fetopelvic index for questionable macrocsomia and for ladies who desire a VBAC. To me it seems like an expensive test "to see" if the baby may come out vaginally. Are others doing this and is it becoming a standard? Does anyone know of any research to see if this a valid test? The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
