Auntie Em! Auntie Em!From: Gary Kleinman (fuf@gulf.net)Thu Apr 11 15:20:46 1996
My partner says that @ the recent SPO, a convincing paper concluded that one doesnt have to worry about severe isoimmunization with Anti - M. I found references on Medline of cases of severe hemolytic disease of the newborn from Anti - M. Duguid, et al Vox Sanguinis 1995;68(3):195 Furukawa, et al. Experimental and Clinical Immugenetics 199310(3):161 ("Now that's a horse of a different color!) I dont have easy access to these journals. Are high titers of Anti - M in a gravida with an M positive partner concerning, or not? Thank you in advance Gary

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
