hi re:BRCA1 testing dr. schulman of Genetics/IVF Fairfax VA has just announced to the consternation of many the commercial availability of this test for the sum of $295 and i suspect NO Insurance accepted. personally, i find this conduct reprehensible but i would welcome others' feedback in this regard. practitioners, get ready for the firestorm to come. art fougner, md forest hills, ny evsono@nyc.pipeline.com

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
