Re right ovarian vein thrombosis - you are right - we recently did a big time lit review and there is NO data. My seat-of-the-pants recommendation is to continue coumadin for 3 months - but please know that I made up that recommendation arbitrarily. One thing I do know is that warfarin was named after WARF - the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation - see, us old guys are good for somethings!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
