A screening test for fetal distress in labour. Obstet Gynecol 1986;68:800-806. There is a more recent review by Ingemar in John Spencer's book 'Intrapartum Fetal Surveillance', RCOG Press, 1993. (Chapter 4) Admission test endorsed again last year in: 'FIGO News': Intrapartum Surveillance - Recommendations on current practice and overview of new developments. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
