PATIENT PROTECTION ACT OF 1996From: Bert Gold (bgold@itsa.ucsf.EDU)Mon Apr 1 09:34:51 1996
The California Nurses Association has proposed a State Law which would do away with gag rules and clearly put peoples' health before profits in Health Care Delivery. You can read a copy on the World Wide Web at: http://www.primenet.com/~network/cqc/ppa-text.htm Doctors, democracy requires that we all stay informed and active. I am reading Linus Pauling's memoirs: He reminds us that training in science allows for better decision making than those without this training. Remember your training!
-- Bert Gold, Ph.D. "If only we stay with that principle University of California, San Francisco which counsels us always to hold School of Medicine to the difficult, then that which Department of Pediatrics now seems to us most foreign, will Program in Medical Genetics become what we most trust and (415) 476-2850 find most faithful." - R.M. Rilke

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
