I also have an alternate E-mail address - Darach@eworld.com) I must say I never thought anyone would nail "the Wrath..." quote dead-on, as you did. Congratulations! I had actually been offering a cash reward to my US friends, just to show you how smug I was. But your correct answer raises some questions: Are you a native Scot? When (and/or) where did you see the movie? Are you a peer? (I graduated med school in 1977) How is it that this particular movie stuck in your mind? I can tell you I saw the movie prior to graduation; it hit me like a freight train. Evidence of that is what would have been my next clue: "...we cure nothing!...we heal no one!..."* No, I'm not a cynic - no more than anyone else in this business - it was just my first taste of reality orientation as a naive and idealistic would-be physician. Now, all these years later, I have come to see this story as illuminating, if not prophetic. And to think that I have Hollywood - not my mentors or fellows - to thank for it. Crazy world, ain't it? Looking forward to your reply. David. *who said it? "...it's all just a matter of ones and zeroes." - B. Coffey.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
