lack of healthy optionsFrom: Robert Brenner (robbrenner@earthlink.net)Wed Mar 27 09:57:22 1996
>Amazingly, the malpractice lawyers may >actually be our saving grace by suing HMO's for practicing medicine. Wishful thinking. It is my understanding that the courts are not holding the HMO's liable and that it is the physician's responsibility to fight for the best interest of the patient at all costs. It's still our fault.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
