35w diabetic follow-upFrom: STEWART PRINGLE (100724.2333@compuserve.com)Tue Mar 26 15:44:30 1996
Thanks for all the replies which I tend to agree with. Happily the baby beat us to it and she laboured and delivered spontaneously on Sunday night. The baby is large for gestational age and has had some hypoglycaemic episodes but is otherwise fine with no evidence of RDS. Mum is well too but needing twice as much insulin as before delivery - appetite the same, kidneys OK, no infection. A hapy ending even if my understanding of the pahophysiology is no better.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
