Terbutaline shortage, parenteralFrom: Cahill, Charles W. (CCAHILL@library.bhs.org)Tue Mar 26 06:46:14 1996
I have been asked by the Perinatal Committee (motto: "all pregnancies are high risk") to survey the list for protocols and other advice on alternative tocolytics...my personal favorite was iv alcohol a la Fritz Fuchs. Any experience with inhaled beta mimetics? Any good articles on SQ rather than IM ritodrine? How about an IV ritrodrine protocol adaptable to a constant infusion home infusion pump? Many thanks in advance. C.W. Cahill, M.D. Baystate Med Ctr (motto: "P.T. Barnum, our hero!) Springfield, MA ccahill@library.bhs.org

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
